stackable pots and pans, a lid and shape-sorting blocks. The toys have light and

Atico International USA Recalls Personal Blenders Due to Laceration Hazard
Hazard: While placing the cup on or off the base of the blender, the blender can
be inadvertently turned on, activating the blade. This can pose a serious
laceration hazard to consumers.
Description: This recall involves the Signature Gourmet™ (item number W14A3691)
and the Crofton® (model number SB-19) personal blenders. The blenders are white
and have 3 components parts – a base containing a power button, a blade
assembly, and a blending cup. Signature Gourmet™ or Crofton® is printed on the

Description: The recall involves the following models of pendant-style

Hazard: The cooking chamber of the grill can melt and/or ignite, posing a risk
of fires and burn injuries to consumers.

Children’s Hooded Sweatshirts with Drawstrings Recalled by Raw Blue Due to

Hazard: The sweatshirts have drawstrings through the hood which pose a
strangulation hazard to young children. In February 1996, CPSC issued guidelines
(pdf) to help prevent children from strangling or getting entangled on the neck
and waist by drawstrings in upper garments, such as jackets and sweatshirts.
Description: The Raw Blue hooded sweatshirts were sold in three styles: smack
print, kapow print and comic magazine print) and various colors. The sweatshirts

Bicycle Pedals Recalled by Look Cycle; Pedals Can Break Causing Cyclists to
Fall
Hazard: The steel axle inside the pedal can break, posing a fall hazard to
cyclists.
Description: The recalled bicycle pedals were sold separately from bicycles.
Pedal models include KéO Classic, KéO Sprint, KéO HM and KéO Carbon. The model
name is printed in white on the side of the pedal. Date codes between January
2004 and December 2005 are included in this recall. The date code for the KéO
Classic, Sprint and Carbon pedals is on a dial stamped onto the pedal. The date
code for the KéO HM is on the bottom of the pedal, with the letters A through L
corresponding to the month, and the numbers 4 and 5 indicating 2004 or 2005.
“Ti” pedals are not included in this recall.

Halogen Work Lights Recalled by Harbor Freight Tools Due to Fire and Shock
Hazards
Hazard: The halogen work lights can overheat and melt, and pose a risk of fire

DEWALT Recalls Cordless Brad Nailers Due to Injury Hazard
Hazard: The nailer can operate when the lock-off (safety) is in the locked
position. Also, the nailer can operate when the trigger is not pulled and the
contact trip is depressed. The unexpected ejection of a nail poses a serious
injury hazard to consumers.
Description: This recall involves the DEWALT DC608 18 Volt Cordless 2” 18 Gauge
Straight Brad Nailer with date codes 200728 through 200821. “DC608” is located
on the right side of the magazine. The date code can be found on the underside
of the handle, once the battery pack is removed. Units stamped with an “M”
following the date code are not included in this recall.

Baby Appleseed Recalls Cribs Due to Fall Hazard
Hazard: The cribs fail to meet the federal safety standards for cribs. The cribs
have a two mattress support system. The secondary mattress support, used for the
lowest position, does not meet the full 26 inch minimum height in its lowest
position, allowing children inside to crawl over the railing, posing a fall
hazard.
Description: The recall includes Davenport crib models that begin with the model
numbers 273-xxxx-xxxx and have manufacture dates on or before August 2007
printed on a label located on the right side of the lower inner panel of the
crib. The recalled cribs have two mattress support systems-a metal one and a
wooden one. Newer Davenport cribs with model numbers beginning with
244-xxxx-xxxx that have one mattress support are not included in the recall.

Hazard: Plastic pieces inside the vacuum tool can break apart and be ejected,

Description: The recalled Dirt Devil Turbo Tool/Power Brush attachment was sold
as an accessory with the following Dirt Devil vacuum models. Only vacuum tool
accessories with date codes J7060 through J7365 and have a C-clip connector are
included in this recall. The date code is located on the underside of the vacuum
accessory. The Turbo Tool/Power Brush tools are about 6 ½ inches long by about 5
inches wide and come in a variety of colors that match the color of the vacuum.

Hazard: The recalled circuit breakers labeled “Square D” have been determined by
Square D to be counterfeit and can fail to trip when they are overloaded, posing

Description: The counterfeit circuit breakers are black and are labeled as
Square D QO-series models 115, 120, 130, 215, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260 and 2020

Actual Square D circuit breakers have (a) the amp rating written on the handle

chromate mounting clip with half of the top of the clip visible. If your

Battat Recalls Magnetic Construction Sets; Ingested Magnets Pose Aspiration

Hazard: Small magnets inside the building pieces can fall out. Magnets found by
young children can be swallowed or aspirated. If more than one magnet is
swallowed, the magnets can attract each other and cause intestinal perforations
or blockages, which can be fatal.

Hazard: The fan’s electric motor can be miswired and overheat, posing a fire
hazard.
Description: The recalled electric motor is part of a residential whole-house
exhaust fan that is typically mounted on the floor of an attic. The shutters of
the fan are visible on the ceiling of the floor beneath the attic and must be
opened and closed by the consumer. The motors were included with exhaust fans

Shims Bargain Recalls Pacifiers Due to Choking Hazard
Hazard: These pacifiers fail to meet federal safety standards for pacifiers. The
pacifier shield is too small and could easily enter the mouth of an infant.
Also, ventilation holes are too small and not placed to allow for the insertion
of a tool to remove the pacifier when lodged in the mouth of a child. Finally,
